The driving force behind ASTRASUN is continuous innovation
ASTRASUN supports its design and construction activities for solar systems with extensive research- and development work.
Our current developments focus on the challenges of energy storage and balancing, the use of hybrid systems, and the introduction of fin-tech solutions. We were among the first to start working on the possibility of virtual power plants. In 2018 we developmed a metal scaffolding that can also be used on unstable ground to install solar parks – others have succeeded in doing that only by using concrete that pollutes the environment. In March 2019 we handed over the first Hungarian battery balancing system. In the course of our developments we cooperate with partners such as Siemens and Huawei.
In 2020 we entered into an agreement with Huawei to implement a demonstration center for Huawei's renewable energy products in our solar park of Bicske.
